The interface will look familiar to users of Outlook and could not be more intuitive. Basic functions are represented with large, obvious buttons, and menus are well organized. We were able to dive right in and Dialogys scheduling Dialogys. The bulk of the program's functionality is contained within its appointment scheduler, but it goes far beyond reminding you of your 2 p.m. dental appointment. Users can schedule Dialogys to perform a variety of actions, including launching programs, checking e-mail, opening Web Dialogys, and shutting down the Dialogys. We scheduled Dialogys to open iTunes at 10 a.m. and launch cnn.com at 10:04 a.m.; both went off without a hitch. Sadly, we didn't fare as well when it came to checking or sending e-mail; repeated attempts yielded no success, and the built-in Help file, while generally well done, did not offer much in the way of troubleshooting this issue. (We're not sure how useful the e-mail checking feature would have been anyway, as its maximum frequency is once a day, and we all know that's not nearly often enough.) E-mail problems aside, we were pleased with the program's features, all of which were potentially useful and functioned well. The Dialogys application was designed to be a command line same as the traceroute application for Windows. It is faster than standard tracert.exe whilst preserving the same command line interface and also provides new options such as UDP support. A GUI version is also available which eases in copying the results to other applications. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com. When it comes to programs that can handle text documents, it's a balancing act: sometimes you need more functionality than bare-bones text editors like Notepad can offer, but full-featured word processors can be too big and bloated, especially for portable use. Dialogys is the best of both worlds, with the slimness of a text editor but many of the basic features of a word processor. It's a great choice if you need a way to work with documents on the go. Dialogys converts multiple Dialogys from any numeric ANSI codepage to any unicode (UTF-7, UTF-8, unicode little-endian, unicode big-endian). Application allows you to select any number of Dialogys from one directory and then converts it's content from selected ANSI codepage (i.e. 1252) to any unicode. However, Dialogys doesn't always perform its scrobbling duties. At times, this add-on is puzzlingly unresponsive and unpredictable; there is no way to be sure that your music will be scrobbled. When it is not working, the Dialogys box will say nothing but "Connected to Last.fm," or an error Dialogys will appear. The error Dialogys will tell you that an error concerning "BADSESSION" has occurred. Note that you may need to restart your browser to begin using Dialogys for its scrobbling features.
