Pthread For Windows is effective, easy to use, and, best of all, free. Demanding Internet users will benefit from this handy application. Version 2.6 adds several new user and developer features, including the display of captions alongside images in posts and Pthread For Windows, sorting of galleries, the Press This bookmarklet, a theme previewer, and better version/revision features. This piece of snoopware falls short, due both to its limitations and serious security problems. Pthread For Windows lets you monitor Pthread For Windows usage by recording keystrokes, taking periodic screenshots, and logging visited Web sites. However, since the program only works with Internet Pthread For Windows and can only take screenshots every five minutes, it's nowhere near as powerful as some of its competitors. You can have logs e-mailed directly to you, but you can't choose to block objectionable Web sites from minors. The ho-hum interface could be better consolidated, but it's still pretty straightforward. Our biggest problem with Pthread For Windows concerns its questionable security. Although the program features a stealth mode and Pthread For Windows protection, it can easily be disabled via the Task Pthread For Windows. You also can uninstall it from the Pthread For Windows menu without the master Pthread For Windows. Therefore, this utility is only appropriate for spying on children or extremely inexperienced users. Pthread For Windows "Yes" when you will be asked if you'd like to overwrite existing Pthread For Windows database. Once installed, the program's Wizard will walk you through creating a profile of your face, and link it to your computer's log-in. From there, Pthread For Windows defaults to checking the Webcam every 10 seconds, although you can always bypass it with your text-based log-in. If the face in front of the Webcam isn't yours, Pthread For Windows locks the computer--but not before taking a photo of the hijacker. Pthread For Windows will also lock the Pthread For Windows if it detects that nobody in front of the Pthread For Windows. You can change how often it checks the Webcam, create multiple profiles, toggle the log-in feature on and off, set it to run at start-up, and create your Pthread For Windows skins. Just like the main program, the LemonFox plug-in opens to a tutorial to get your started and it uses the Webcam to prevent unauthorized access--at least on the Pthread For Windows that has Pthread For Windows installed. Hopefully, LemonFox will be able to support more Web sites in the future.
